Little miss make up
Hello my lovlies,
So I havent done a beauty review in a while so today i am going to review the ps pro foundation and ps pro mattifying primer both I purchased in penneys or if you are in the UK primark.
I am going to start with the primer because you always prime the skin before applying your foundation. I picked up the mattifying primer because I have oily skin but if you have dry skin you could pick up the illuminating primer which would be a cheaper alternative to the mac strobe cream. this primer absorbs excess oil from the skin, minimises visible pores and is a lightweight texture. this primer reminds me of the benefit porefessional. it gives you a smooth base for your foundation. It increases the lasting power of your foundation and stops you from going shiny. it is really light on the skin and it smoothes out the skin by filling in your pores. So once you have this on and you have a perfect base for your fandation, you can apply your foundation.
Now we have the foundation. I think this was around 6-7 euro. it is really afordable. I got the second lightest shade which is dark and I would wear it with tan but the light shade is too light. Some would buy both as you could mix them depending on your skin tone. they have very dark shades which are perfect for dark toned skin but for us irish skins you can either have really light or a bit too dark for us. The foundations are really good coverage and last all day with or without the primer. It goes on really nice blends well and is light on the skin. the foundation has an SPF 15 which is amaxing because even in the winter we should always use an SPF to protect the skin for UV damage which you can get on a cloudy cold day.
Here is a photo of me wearing the foundation and as you can see it give really good coverage and is very even and it doesnt look cakey or like i have much foundation on. I used one pump and blended it well into the skin with a buffer foundation brush. once on I set it with a translucent powder. you can get one of these powders in the ps pro brand. I have yet to try the powders.
So overall I really like the primer and foundation and they are amazing quality an very affordable. You get great lasting power and only need a small amount meaning they will last you ages.
Thanks for reading and I hope ye liked this review.
lots of love,
