Health benefits of red berry tea.
Welcome to my newest section on the blog. I love researching home remedies and the benefits of food and drinks. I always try the natural approach to help my health and I decided why not share my findings with you. Anything I will include in this section is things I personal use and have tried. I am not a nutristionist, I am simply just interested in the natural health approach and the benefits of herbal teas, fruit, vegtables etc.
In this first post it is one of four of my herbal teas. So lets get started.
Today I am going to tell yo all about red berry tea and all the health benefits from drinking it. This tea I prchase in Lidl and it is caffeine free. I do not drink caffeine as it does affect my heart condition.
Red berry tea is an antioxidant and phytonutrient. Been an antioxidant is is brilliant for your skin. It protects the skin from free radical damage which in turn ages your skin.
This tea has anti-imflammatory proteries which is one of the main reasons why I drink it. I cant take anti-imflammatories due to my heart condition and my bowel condition. I will always use the natural anti-imflammatory approach and I do find it helps. This tea helps relieve pain and imflammation from conditions such as gout, artiritis and other imflammation conditions of the joints.
This tea is amazing for us women who suffer from thrush. It has anti bacterial and anti fungal properties aiding in reducing thrsh and irritable bowel disease. Alot of us with chronic illnesses are constantly on antibiotics which reslt in thrush. This tea is great to prevent thrush.
It also protects the heart and circulatory system and slow down the advancement of age related diseases.
It is also high in Vit C which is great for my autoimmne disease.
As I was researching the benefits of this tea I also came across the benefits of eating a bowl of fresh rasberries in which I wanted to add.
One cup of fresh rasberries has the following:
-1.5 of protein.
-8g of dietary fibre.
-14.7g of carbs.
-low in fat and sodium.
-64cal per cup.
-167 combined mcg of lutein and zeaxanthin which helps protect against macular degeneration, eye disease.
-26mcg of falate.
This tea is really easy to drink and for added sweetness to any of my teas I will add honey and I will also have a blog post to come on the benefits of honey.
I hope you enjoyed this post and there is more to come.
Thanks for reading,
lots of love,
