Little miss make up
Hello my lovelies,
So I went to the hospital in harolds cross last Thursday for my assessment.
I had a very early start leaving home at half six and travelled 50 minutes by car to Waterford train station. I then had to travel from Waterford to Dublin. My mom and auntie came with me.
Once we got to dublin we got the Luas and then a bus to the hospital. Loads of transport which takes its toll on me.
Pnce i got to the hospital I was exhausted and I was coming down with something as my throats was so sore and my voice was going.
The staff where so lovely and I first met with an occupational therapist and she was so lovely. We spoke about my illnesses and what we wanted to work on to improve my quality of life.
I then met with the physiotherapist and further discussed my illness and as to how we can improve it. She seem quiet happy with how I was and what would need to be done.
I then met met with a nurse and talked again about my illness and yes all the talking was making my throats and voice worse.
I then had to meet with The registrar (think that's how it's spelled) and she discussed my illness and how the program at harolds cross would benefit someone with my conditions. She told me that they would have a meeting and discuss whether or not I would benefit from the programme. I know must wait until they ring me to see if I'm a candidate for the program and if I am they will take me in for two weeks.
The program sounds amazing and could could possible change my life and give me a better quality of life. It may be two weeks away from home but I am willing to do it if it means I will have a better quality of life.
So that's my little update on my harolds cross visit.
Thanks for reading,
lots of love,
